What we're learning this week:
Religion: The church and its structure
English: Cinquain poems and Adverbs & conjuctions
Reading: Poetry-- over the next couple weeks as we work on writing poetry, we will also be reading poetry. These are the poems we will be working with;
- "Looking-Glass River", "Nest Eggs", & "The Gardener" by Robert Louis Stevenson
- "The Windmill" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
- "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost
- "To a Butterfly" by William Wordsworth
Students will also be reading Charlotte's Web and working in literature circles.
Math: Reteach fractions - parts of a set
Social Studies: Memorial Day
Spelling: Words You Should Be Able To Spell (4th list in this series)
