Make-Up Work
Students who provide a written note for an excused absence will be allowed to make up work missed during their absence.
All make up work is due no later than the Monday following a student’s absence.
Make-up work is defined as work assigned on a day a student is absent from school.
If a student goes home early or comes to school late, he/she should check with the teachers of classes he/she missed before the end of the day. This work will be due on the regular due date.If a student will miss class for a field trip, he/she should get the work the day before the trip, and it will be due on the regular due date.If a student is present when an assignment is given but absent on the day it is turned in, he/she must turn in the assignment on his/her first day back to school following the absence. It is the student’s responsibility to ask for make-up work and to remember to turn it in on the correct day.

Discipline
Each student will receive a copy of the 7th grade discipline plan on Friday, August 14. Please be sure to carefully read through each section of this plan. There is a page for parents and students to sign and return. We need all forms returned by Wednesday, August 19.
In this plan, you will find information on what our expectations are in 7th grade. We have outlined some of the major guidelines below.
We work on a card system. Students will receive a discipline card for failure to follow the rules set forth by the teachers and administrators at Croft.
Card #1 = 1 hour of detention and phone call to parent Card #2 = 2 hours of detention and phone call to parent Card #3 (and all others from this point forward) = office referal
Detention is served during set times. We offer detention on most days of the week before school beginning @ 8:00 am and some days after school beginning @ 4:00 pm. All students MUST stay for the full time. Failure to report to detention will result in an office referral with ISS.
