Welcome back students! I will be your teacher for the 2008-09 school year! My name is Ms. Coleman. This is my 3rd year as a functional skills special educator. It is my pleasure to educate you to the best of my ability. Welcome to the 2008-09 school year to my regular parents and new parents! It is my absolute pleasure to instruct and educate your child/children. It certainly takes the village to train up a child in the way that they should go. Therefore, I know that together we can assist our children in advancing their progress. I sent home a "welcome" letter on August 11th. I gave my number for you to call between 2-5pm, Mondays-Fridays. Please feel free to call me during those hours if you have questions/concerns! Thank you! PS...If you have not already done so, each child needs at least pencils, paper, and a colored folder with 2 pockets and the brads/tacks on the inside (This will be their communications folder and it's extremely important. Students do better having this folder rather than hand carrying information. Folders are 15 cents at Walmart) You may send supplies as you are able to get them, but students need pencils, paper, and the communications folder right away.
