Hello Parents,

This is going to be a fabulous year for your child, and I am thrilled to welcome him/her to our kindergarten classroom at Anniston Elementary.  You are going to see a great deal of growth in your child this year, and I am certain you will be amazed with his/her progress. 

I have completed eighteen years of teaching, and I will be beginning my nineteenth with your child this year.  I have experience teaching fifth grade, second grade, first grade and kindergarten.   More than anything, I am excited to be starting another year in kindergarten here at Anniston!  I absolutely LOVE seeing the fantastic changes and growth that take place in kindergarten.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with your child, and I look forward to joining with you as a partner in your child's education.  You will find that Anniston Elementary will exceed your expectations thanks to the many caring people who work together to make sure our students come first.  We have a unique collection of teachers, assistants, other staff members, volunteers, community members, parents, grandparents, and administrators who believe in doing "What's Best for Children" with every decision that is made!
