Monday, 11/2 (black day):
* Speaking Assessment - Interview with Sra. Diaz - You pick the first question and Sra. Diaz will pick the 2nd one.
* Future Tense Study Guide & Translations - MEMORIZE those Irregular Stems in the future tense!!
Tuesday 11/10; Wednesday 11/11:
* Prepare for Ch. 3 Exam - Work in groups and prepare Review Charts of Chapter 3
REMINDER!! FINISH Workbook pages for Chapter 3 - DUE DAY OF EXAM!!
Thursday 11/12; Friday 11/13:
* Chapter 3 Unit Exam
* Pre-Test Questions for Chapter 4
* Introduction to Chapter 4 Vocabulary - 2-Column Format
Quiz and Test dates: (these dates are subject to change to best meet the needs of the students) If a quiz or Ch. test date changes, I will always post it in the classroom and the students will know ahead of time. They are responsible for writing these dates in their agendas/notebooks.
Objectives for Chapter 3:
- talk about what has happened; express and support a point of view; use conversational fillers; talk about future events; talk about responsibilities
1) Forming the Present Perfect to talk about what has happened or has not happened.
2) Future Tense - 11 Verbs with Irregular stems in the future
* Culture: Life in Caracas, Venezuela - Technological advances in South America
Looking Ahead... 
* Looking ahead to the End of Semester Exam 
* There will NOT be a Ch. 4 Unit Exam. End of Semester Exam will include Chapters 1 - 4 - EXAM SCHEDULE will be posted this week.
* December 9 & 10 - Ch. 4 Vocabulary & Grammar Quiz
* End of Semester Exam Prep Project - Groups will be assigned a Chapter and prepare a Lesson to teach to the class. Each lesson must include a Vocabulary, Grammar and Culture component. The lesson can be in the form of an Activity, Game, Oral Assessment, Listening, Reading comprehension or Quiz. You can prepare a Power Point or use the chapter transparencies.
Important Note to Parents: Please check in Pinnacle for Notes regarding grades, quiz retakes, missing assignments and conduct.
In order to keep up with the material and the pace of this course, it is very important that students study the Vocabulary and Grammar every single day, complete all class assignments and prepare for quizzes and exams.
Quiz Retakes: Wednesday mornings and afternoons. If you need to meet with me, please let me know ahead of time.
Tutoring Sessions: Spanish Honor Society members will offer tutoring sessions Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:00 and Thursday mornings from 7:45 - 8:15 in my classroom. You need to sign up first. Come with a former quiz or assignment. Tutors will not do the work for you. You need to come with questions and with a plan.
Grammar Workbooks: Remember to do the workbook pages as we present the concepts and Vocabulary in class. Workbooks are due on the day of Exam.
QUIZ & TEST MAKEUP: If you are absent when a quiz or test is given, you need to make arrangements with me to either come in early.
