Grammar concepts:  Telling time, using the preposition 'de'; The verb 'Ser' to tell time and to describe; Adjective Agreement

Note to Parents:   Please look at my comments in Pinnacle under Notes and Discipline.  I will keep updates in Pinnacle for grade changes, quiz retakes, missing assignments and discipline issues.

Important Note about conduct in class:  I will continue to follow my  conduct policy as stated on my syllabus.  After a student has received 2 warnings regarding his/her conduct in class, he/she has earned an 'N' and in some cases possibly a 'U'.    If there is a third warning, the student will be asked to go to another class in the department and continue working in that class.  The student will be given an "Alternative Assignment" form which will be taken home and signed by the parent/guardian.  While the student is in another class, he/she will work on a different assignment from the menu options on the form.  All work will be turned in to me the following class meeting.   If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

Quiz Retakes:  Wednesday mornings and afternoons.  (sometimes quiz retakes may be taken during class)

TAREA/Homework:  Students have homework every class meeting.  Their main homework is to study their Vocabulary for at least 30 minutes.  If they do not finish their class work, it must be finished for homework and due the next class meeting.

NOTE TO PARENTS:  Please continue to encourage your student to study the Vocabulary every single day.  Since we only meet every other day, it is crucial that students spend time outside of class studying the Vocabulary and grammar concepts, in order to keep up with the material and the pace of this course.

Absences/Make up Work:  If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibilty to find out what you missed that day.  All work is due the next class period.  If you miss an assignment because you were absent, you will have the same amount of time to turn in your work.  **Not turning in your work will definitely hurt your grade**

HELP SESSIONS/Spanish Honor Society Tutoring Services:    If you're falling behind, COME IN FOR HELP!!  If you need extra help, please sign up in my class for Tuesday afternoons and/or Thursday morning Tutoring sessions.

MATERIALS TO CLASS:  ALWAYS come to class prepared and with ALL materials:  (refer to the class syllabus).

Grammar Review:  Remember to visit the website   --  www.studyspanish.com  for grammar review
