The library opens at 7:30 every morning and closes at 3:30 in the afternoon. During school hours, students may visit the library with permission from their teacher during class time; they may also visit during their lunch. However, sometimes classes are scheduled for research and projects. If this is the case, the doors will be locked or a closed sign will be posted on the door. 

A book may be checked out for a two week period.  There is a three day grace period before a student will be charged five cents for each day the book is late.  Each student is allowed to check out two books.

Yes, students are charged fines. For each day a book is late, five cents is charged. If a student owes a fine, he or she is only allowed to have one book checked out at a time instead of two until the fine is paid.

1. No backpacks (They must be placed in the hallway or just inside each door but out of the way of others.)

2. No food or drinks (senior high lunch exception)

3. No horseplay

4. Chess only during lunch

5. Computers for OPAC, research, or Accelerated Reader tests only

6. Window seats - no shoes allowed and raise the blinds

7. Please return magazines and newspapers where they belong
