November 2-6

Last week we were involved in Red Ribbon activities.  This week we get to go back to the drama room.  Kindergarten and first graders will be working with the letter "p."  We will read A Porcupine Named Fluffy and play P-Charades.  Second and some third graders will be discussing the water cycle and performing Febold Feeblson Saves Nebraska from Drought.  Some fourth and all fifth grade students will be discussing life in the pioneer days.  They will perform The Sager Children.  Our big third/fourth grade play is coming very soon.  Please try to attend.  They wrote the plat themselves.  This year's play is entitled WWW.WEST.COM.  The performance is Thursday, November 19 at 6:00 in the auditorium.  ALL THIRD and FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS are expected to attend.  Thank you for your continued support.  DRAMA and the SAINTS ROCK!!!

November 9-13

This week kindergarten, first, second, and fifth grade students will learn about Ireland.  They will perform Irish legends.  Ask your child who "Finn" is.  Third and fourth graders will be rehearsing for thier big play, WWW.WEST.COM.  Please make plans to come to their performance at 6:00 on Thursday, November 19.  Find out what the students would say about their teachers if THEY created a "my  space" for them.  Hope to see you at the show.  DRAMA ROCKS!!

November 16-20

This week in drama kindergarteners will be learning about the letter D.  SoSo, we will be reading Douglas Duck and playing D-Charades.  First and second graders will be working on nouns, verbs, and subject-verb agreement.  Fifth graders will be writing a script for one of the Irish legends they learned about last week. The big news in drama this week, however, is the third/fourth grade play which will be performed THURSDAY NIGHT at 6:00.  The play is entitled "WWW.WEST.COM"  Please make plans to come out and see it.  If your child is a third or fourth grader they are expected to be there. EVERY STUDENT HAS A PART.  Please have your third and fourth graders here BY 5:30 THURSDAY NIGHT. Thank you for your support.  DRAMA ROCKS!!

November 30- December 4

 This month we willl be discussing customs.   We will begin this week by discussing Christmas customs.  We will NOT be studying Christmas, just the customs.
