Patti Walker
I was born and raised in a small town in Kansas, Tonganoxie. I attended Kansas State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Middle School Science in 2003. I taught my first 3 years in Oklahoma City, 8th grade science at Mayfield Middle School. During my time in Oklahoma I earned my Master’s Degree in School Administration at the University of Central Oklahoma. My Husband and I moved to Gulfport, MS in July of 2006 where I have taught 8th grade science at Bayou View Middle School ever since. I recently earned National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Science.
I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors and being active. I travel to Colorado each year to snowboard in the winter and camp/hike in the summer. We scuba dive as often as possible. I participate in 5k, 10k, and half marathon races. I have fallen in love with the Gulf Coast, I now call it Home!
