We gather to ask your blessing, God of all goodness.

Watch over us as your children, from the rising of the sun till our day is done.

Lead us like the Good Shepherd who knows each one by name.

Care for us when we are sick and comfort us in our need.

Bring peace and justice to our land and our homes this day and every day.

This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, out Lord.
