Whats New?
We took our first test last week, and now will be testing every five lessons! The kids are doing great at getting in their homework, and are so excited to continue to get more into telling time and trickier concepts. Please make sure your child is bringing their math folder to school every day so that they have somewhere to keep their homework and finished papers.
Things to remember:
- Ask your child to read the clock throughout the evening at home. (they are just learning, so help out if needed.)
- When your child does the Fact Practice Homowork please time them. The kids get 2 minutes in class, so they should practice like that too!
- Try orally quizing your child with the Fact Practice sheet after they fill in the answers for extra reinforcement.
- Encourage your child to check their homework over for silly mistakes before they have an adult check for mistakes.
