  * Please help your child with homework and read with your child each day. Please help your child remember to put all homework back into the homework folder and return to school each day. Homework is recorded in the gradebook and will be counted in your child's grades. Be sure to sign the Behavior Calendar each day and discuss your child's behavior to help him/her learn from mistakes. Praise your child for good behavior.

What We’re Up To

This week we will reviewing rules and procedures for our classroom and the school again, read  Tell Me, Tree  &  other plant books & complete related activities. We will complete activities related to r-controlled vowels, syllabication and use Circle maps for brainstorming, Tree maps for organizing, Brace maps for whole part relationship, Flow maps for sequencing. We will also continue counting pennies, nickels, dimes, & quarters, tell time to hour & half hour, solve story problems, & write number sentences.
