Classroom Rules

1. Be Respectful:

Respect yourself and respect others. We are in a diversity classroom and therefore we will find very often that others think differently from us. Everyone's ideas and opinions are important and should be respected in our classroom.

2. Be on Time:

Punctuality is very important for our learning environment, please be on time in the morning line and after recess.

3. Be prepared:

Being prepared means having all your school supplies ready when needed, present homework during the allocated time and your mind free and ready to learn.

School Rules

1.- Every adult assigned to Whittier School has the authority and responsibility to correct the misbehavior of any student.
2.- When the teacher talks, the student will be courteous and listen.
3.- When a student wishes to ask a question, express an opinion, etc. he will raise his hand and the teacher and remaining students will listen.
4.- Be courteous. No student will, or has the right, to disrupt the learning atmosphereof the classroom.
5.- No gum, candy or seeds of any kind will be allowed at school.
6.- In accordance with the state laws, cigarettes, alcohol, tobacco, weapons of any kind and drugs will not be brought to school.
7.- Acceptable language will be used at all times. Profanity will not be used on the school grounds.
