Saxon Math

5/22-5/25:

Tuesday: Written Assessment 17.  Adding 10 to a number.

Wednesday: Comparing and ordering numbers to 100.

Thursday: Counting by 100's.

Friday: Addition Facts: Sums of 10.  ID a missing addend.

5/15-5/18:

Tuesday: Dividing a shape into 88 fourths.  Coloring halves and fourths.

Wednesday: Adding 10 to a number.

Thursday: Counting by 10's from a single-digit number.

Friday: Written assessment 17.  Drawing a picture to solve a problem.

5/8-5/11:

Tuesday: Using concrete and pictoral models to represent 2-digit numbers.  Comparing 2-digit numbers.  Identifying the place value of digits in a 2-digit number.  Fact Assessment.

Wednesday: Written assessment 16.  Trading pennies for dimes.

2/21-2/24:

Tuesday: Continue learning to number a clockface.  Show to the hour on a clock.

Wednesday: Add 2 to an even number.

Thursday: Add 2 to an odd number.

Friday: Covering a design with pattern blocks.  Sorting, counting and recording the pattern blocks used to cover a design.

2/14-2/17:

Tuesday: Friendship math. Estimating and measuring the capacity of containers using nonstandard units.  Writing 2 digit numbers for a set of objects.  Compare and order 2 digit numbers.

Wednesday: Identify odd and even numbers.

Thursday: Number a clockface.  Show to the hour on a clock.

Friday: Add 2 to an even number.

2/6-2/10:

Tuesday: Counting dimes and pennies

Wednesday: Create a design with a line of symmetry.  Identify a line of symmetry.

Thursday: Draw a line of symmetry.  Identify half of a whole.  Write the fraction for half.

Friday: 100th day of school.  Written assessment.  Estimate and measure the capacity of containers using a nonstandard unit.  Write a two-digit number for a set of objects.  Compare and order two-digit numbers.

1/31-2/3:

Tuesday: Continue working on estimating the capacity of containers.  Ordering containers by capacity.  Identifying 1 cup liquid measure.  Written assessment 9.

Wednesday: Draw a picture to solve a problem.  Identify the even numbers of 20.

Thursday: Identify and locate numbers on a hundred number chart.

Friday: Count dimes and pennies.

1/24-1/27:
