Scripture Memory

Scripture Memory

Thy Word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against Thee. Psalm 119:11

Certainly memorization is vital to your child’s education. Scripture memorization is the most vital of all. It is very important that they learn as much scripture as possible at an early age. The Word of God will not only aid them in the training of their mind in retaining thoughts, it will alsohelp to  guide your child through every step of life.

Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, an Italian composer, violinist and organist born in the early 1700's said, "A well trained memory is one that permits you to forget everything that isn’t worth remembering! "

Parents, there is nothing better for your child’s memory than to hide the precious Word of God in their hearts. Filling their mind with good things will help eliminate much of the bad. It also sets a standard in their life for good behavior early on.

Your child will be given a scripture text for you to help him with at home once a month. However, most scripture memory will be done in class.
