Maybe you're wondering why we have a webpage . . .

Welcome to the First Grade Website!
As the homepage suggests, this will be used to post the updates, calendars, and lessons plans handed out in class. This way you will always have access to a copy of class happenings in case you're out of town, the paper updates were misplaced, you missed a day of class, or the dog ate your homework. It is also a venue for any last minute updates that didn't make it to the classroom (these will also be emailed to you).
Under each page heading on the homepage, you will see a date below telling you when it was last updated. If the date listed is recent, then I have posted something new for you.
The weekly lesson plans will be posted under "Files" tab at the top of the homepage. If there are any changes made to the lesson plan, they will be posted under "Lesson Plan Changes." "Upcoming Events" will include posts with details concerning schoolwide or class happenings (i.e. Thanksgiving Feast, Feild Trips, etc.), and "Important Updates" will cover new developments in the classroom or calendar.
At the top of the homepage, the "Calendar" tab allows you to view our classroom calendar. It will include holidays, the dates of classroom chapel, SAT testing and make-up dates, class holiday parties, and feild trips.
Beneath my profile picture there is a link to my email. You can use the provided link or copy an paste my email into your own. The top of the homepage also has a "Mailing List" with classroom contacts.
Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to see here or anything at all that would make the site more accessible and helpful.
