Extra Credit for BCIS
Topics for Essays/Presentations: You choose the topic. It must be appropriate for school.
Important: NO COPY AND PASTING ALLOWED.
Due Dates for Extra Credit are posted on the current six weeks assignments section of this site. No exceptions will be made.
Requirements for Essays/Presentations:
Total of 4 pts. possible added to six weeks grade.
Use the Internet for your research. Wikipedia is not allowed as a source.
At least 2 sources are required.
Essay Requirements: 2 pts. each
1. 2-3 pages in length.
2. Header with name/class period/date
3. 12 pt. Times New Roman, Arial, or Courier New font.
4. Double spaced
5. Centered title
6. No spelling errors
7. Websites used should be placed at the end of the report.
8. Email me the report by the due date. jclough@austinisd.org
PowerPoint Presentations: 2 pts. each
1. 8-10 slides
2. Should have a title slide with name, class, date
3. At least 3 points on each slide except for title slide
4. Use a font that is easy to read
5. At least 5 pictures for entire presentation
6. A title on each slide
7. No spelling errors
8. Last slide should contain your websites used.
9. Email the presentation to me by the due date. jclough@austinisd.org
