Dear First Grader,
Hi! My name is Miss Scott, and I will be your first grade teacher this year at Thickwood Heights. Please know I am so excited that YOU will be in my class this year!
I know you are going to love first grade. We will be very busy learning about things like our five senses, plants and animals, our Community and so much more. We will also read fascinating stories, solve challenging math problems, and write stories. This year, you will sit at your very own desk!
There is so much more to tell you about first grade, and I can’t wait to see you on the first day of school. Together, we will have a wonderful year!
