When is homework given?
Homework will be passed out every Wednesday in a packet form. It will include a reading log, language arts work, math and spelling words that we are working on for the week. Before going home on Wednesdays, I review each page of the homework packet with your child so that they understand what to do.
*At times, I have 2 different spelling lists that go home. So your child may have a different list than another student!*
Please make sure that homework is done in pencil, and not pen! Also, reading logs need to be filled out as your child reads each night. Please do not fill the reading logs in in advance!!
This homework packet is due back the following Wednesday in their Wednesday envelope. Along with homework being sent home on Wednesdays, class work from their cubbies will also be passed back from the week. You will get a chance to review what we have been working on and see how your child is doing! I also include a classroom newsletter that includes important dates coming up and classroom information!
