Mrs. Margaret Gregorin

Thank You, Lord!

Teach me Your way O LORD; I will walk in Your truth.  Ps. 86:11

Reading

Dear Parents:  Students in grades 6-9 will be reading either biographies or histocial fiction novels during the month of March.  They will be assigned specific chapters to read and will be given questions to answer, along with other writing assignments.

Sixth grade will read A Father's Promise.

Seventh grade will read George Muller, The Guardian of Bristol's Orphans.

Eighth grade will read The Hiding Place.

Ninth grade will read In the Presence of My Enemies.

Students have been asked NOT TO READ AHEAD OF THE ASSIGNED READING.  I realize this is hard for some who love to read, but the assignments and discussions are based on what everyone has read, and I prefer that all are on the same page.  Also, you can understand that I have set aside time to read and complete assignments and it is disturbing to have a student finish reading after the second or third day and tell me they have nothing to do in class.   I want the students not only to read, but to understand how they can incorporate into their lives the Godly principles discussed in the books.

These are exciting books and I truly hope the students enjoy them and learn from them.  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail or call me at the school.
