Having Financial Difficulties?

 If you or your partner have lost their job and you are struggling financially, your son/daughter MAY QUALIFY for Free or Reduced Lunch.  The only way to find out, is by filling out a lunch application.  Once you complete this very simple, one page form, please have your son/daughter bring it back to school.  He or she can hand it to     Ms. Cortez, School Social Worker.  Any questions, please feel free to call me at     649-5396, Ext. 366  Here is the Link to the Lunch Application:

Where Can Parents Get Help?

If you or your partner has lost their job, medical insurance and benefits, please visit the Department of Social Services.  The office that you would need to go, depends on the town that you live in.  Here is the main website: http://www.ct.gov/dss/site/default.asp

If you have lost your Medical Insurance, you MAY qualify for Husky Health Insurance.  The only way to find out is by applying.  Here is the website.

Also, you may call 211- Info Line is:   

A FREE community service administered by the United Way of Connecticut. It is supported by the State of Connecticut and Connecticut United Ways.
