What We Are Learning
These notes are for classes that I teach.
Reading: We are currently reading "Summer of the Monkeys". This is a fun and exciting story that takes place in the early 1900s in the Cherokee Nation in the Ozark Mountains. Our main character is an 11 year old boy that is trying to capture 30 circus monkeys that escaped from a train wreck. This story is full of funny and wild adventures.
Our Book Report genre is “Humor" due 26 Mar. Our project will be a Movie Poster.Spelling - Our Spelling Units come from new vocabulary in our novel.
SS: In SS we are studying WWI and the Roaring Twenties.
Language Arts: In
Math: In Math we are studying Greatest Common Factors, Least Common Multiples and introduction to Fractions.
