  SAFE - The SAFE (Students Are For Education) Program. This is a 12 week program run by the Coweta County Sheriffs Office for 5th graders. The classes meet one hour per week on Tuesdays and are taught on site by Deputy Sherrif Hixson  The program is designed to give 5th graders tools to prepare for middle school. Topics include peer pressure, gangs, and drug awareness.  This is an excellent program that our county law enforcement provides for our students.  There is a Graduation Ceremony tentatively scheduled for 10 November in the White Oak Gym. Please make plans to attend to show support for your child. 

 

4H - The Coweta County University of Georgia Extension Office will begin the 4H classes on in September and are conducted one day per month until May. The classes offer a variety of science programs that extend beyond our classroom.  4H also offers a large number of classes and activities at the Coweta County Fairgrounds complex. A 4H calendar will be sent home so you can see what is available and join.
