Ms. Russo's Mission
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.

- Commitment to a student-centered environment.
- To enhance efficient and effective use of my classroom.
- To provide opportunities for students to develop intellectually, socially, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
- To provide an atmosphere for students to feel free to explore their choices, take risks, learn from their mistakes, grow from their successes, and accept responsibility for their actions.
- If our children are to reach their potential, parents and teachers must work together.
About Your Class
- You are going to LOVE Falcon Cove Middle School. Your teachers and all of the staff are here to make your transition from Elementary to Middle School as painless as possible. We all want you to be successful and you will be - as long as you pay attention to the rules, do your homework, study for your tests and eat a good breakfast every morning...
- In my class you will learn about the ancient past. How civilization, as we know it, came to be - and how those people from the past were able to make great changes and discoveries which enabled society to grow and prosper.
- Remember, extra credit is for you to receive extra points on tests; it would behoove you not to take advantage of this generosity that is bestowed upon you (learning vocabulary is fun, use words you read in books in everyday language, it will only benefit you.) Lots of rationale going on in my class too! Pay attention! and... abide by simple principles of the class that unequivocally will, for the long term, benefit you in life...

About Lil’ Ole Ms. Russo…
If you were to begin to tell a story (history is a story by the way) Well, here is my story... My son is my family, and my bare-eye cockatoo, I call her my silly bird. This is my 5th year teaching at Falcon Cove. I have taught ESE and World History! I want you to learn about World History, it’s remarkable! I bring about lots of rationale along the way; like, why do you think you are learning about World History anyway? What do you think? How about learning about the people and the past shows how they were able to make great changes and discoveries which enabled society to grow and prosper. So, journey with me, my World History 6th graders, onward ho!
