BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
You need to recognize your talents and the abilities you possess, and most important you must know that YOU can succeed!

Use your Agenda!!!
This book is a great way to organize all your thoughts, work assignments, daily meetings, and friends phone numbers (for those times you might need to ask your friend a question about homework).
#1 RULE...
ALWAYS use the time wisely that teachers allow in class, to ask questions, or to get help. Asking questions in class helps with your homework later (when the teacher is not there).
There are lots of ways that you can be successful in the classroom...
1. Be in School... everyday, and on time!
2. Be prepared... supplies, homework done, and ready to learn.
3. Sit where you can hear the teacher and see what is going on around you.
4. Be a good group member... do your fair share, accept that everyone is different, and support the others in your group.
5. INVOLVE your PARENTS!!! (they really are interested in what you did that day).
LISTEN!!! LISTEN!!! LISTEN!!!
The more you listen, the more you can retain and write in your notes, and then review at home. This also keeps you focused in the classroom.
Always use pencil (in case you need to re-write or add something later)
If possible, use different colored pens to "highlight" important information. Those key words underlined will trigger your memory faster for the test.
Go over your notes nightly to retain the information easier.
ALWAYS ask your friend or classroom neighbor for notes that were missed.
