Important Information

I just wanted to touch base on a couple of things.  I have had a few questions about some homework that has gone home and I want to clear up questions for everyone.

Math
- Any work done for math needs to be shown on the paper.  All students are to show whether they used addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc. on any word problems.  This has been discussed in class numerous times, but the students do forget wen they are at home doing their homework.  If a student does not show their work, it is marked wrong unfortunately.
- Also, for all word problems students are to make sure they write down the label after their answer.  If a problem is asking how many days are left, then the student needs to write the number and "days" to answer the question.

Reading
- If you have books at home that are in your child's A.R. range and the book is on the school A.R. list, then that student may read that book and take a test on it.
- You may also check out A.R. books at the local library.
- The A.R. list is available on the school website: www.prairiehill.org

Papers Sent Home
- Remember that a page that has a grade with a % means that it was recorded in the grade book.

PLEASE contact myself if you have any questions.

THANKS!
