Mrs. Howell's Class Website

I'm glad you are visiting my website.  I am glad I will get to know you and here are some things about me.   I love to read books, especially historical fiction and biographies.  I also really like to write and one of my hobbies is learning new words to use to make my writing sound really interesting.   One of my favorite things to do is visit beautiful natural areas like Crystal River, Scott Mountain in Oklahoma, or local beaches and state parks. 

I have 3 children:  Jacob is 17, Joey is 15 and Katy is 13.  They go to school at Lake Gibson Middle and High School.  This summer I will celebrate my 19th anniversary (actually on the second day of school!) and my husband is an an Assistant Pastor at New Life Community Church in Polk City. 

Here are some things that the state of Florida would like me to share with you:  I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.   I have been a teacher for 3 years. I have a teaching certification from the  State of Florida"s Department of Education in grades K-6,  which means that I am certified and highly qualified.
