Reading:
-Your child is to read 2 hours a week. Each night they read please document on the spelling word list section in located in their planner. Make sure to include the title of the book and the amount of time they read on the correct day.
-Complete literature circle assignment for the next time we meet.
Mathematics Weekly Homework (None This Week due to Mardi Gras Week)
This week your child will be working on a homework packet.
Monday: textbook page 477 (1-14)
Tuesday: textbook page 478 (1-14)
Wednesday: textbook page 440.
Thursday: textbook page 422
Spelling Homework schedule (None this week)
- Monday: Cut and Paste
- Tuesday: 3 speed sorts and a written sort
- Wednesday: 3 speed sorts and a Word Hunt (10 spelling words that match the spelling pattern for the week)
- Thursday: a Blind Sort done with parents (pre test).
- Friday: Test at school
Vocabulary
- Monday: Vocabulary sentences words 1-3
- Tuesday: Vocabulary sentences words 4-6
- Wednesday: Vocabulary sentences words 7-9
- Thursday: Vocabulary sentences words 10-12
