Reading Logs

Each student has 75 minutes of SSR due every Thursday.  To get credit, the student needs to bring in a completed reading log with a parent signature.  The expectation is that each student will read at least one novel per six weeks that is on or above their reading level.  Books are available for check-out in the library and in the classroom. See Ms. Killion or Ms. Zell, the librarian, if you need help choosing a book. Happy reading!

Come by either before or afterschool to get your minutes. You can only receive up to 50%.  If you come to tutorial afterschool (you can use the time for SSR minutes!), you can get up to 70%.  Points matter!

Writer's Notebook Entries

3 Outside-Class Entries in your Writer's Notebook are due every Thursday.  Each entry needs the heading "Outside Class" and the date that you wrote it.  If you REALLY can't think of anything to write about.....
