NEXT AFTERSCHOOL Meeting on TUESDAY,  November 17  from 2:10pm to 5:30pm in Room 207. 

We will be staying after school before the open house/shop fair on Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 2 - 5:30pm.  Students should bring a bag lunch or $10 and ID for the steak dinner that starts at 5pm if they stay.

Holiday party trip to the The Time Machine in Manchester on Friday, December 4.  We'll be staying after school and heading over early for some food and gaming.  Students need to pick up a permission slip at the club bulletin board and return it by December 1 to Mr. Haskell.  No charge for trip, but you may want to bring money to buy gifts/games or additional snacks.  Pizza & soda provided.

ELLIS CON XXI was a success.  Over 120 people present with five dealers.  The club earned over $1,000 to help pay for our annual trip to West Point.  Many thanks to our gamemasters and to volunteer adults: Justin's mom,  Mr. Knisbaum, Mrs. Shields, Mrs. Omerod, Mrs. Haskell.

The trip to see two World War II US bombers, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-24 Liberator, as well as a P-51 Mustang fighter was a success.  Besides a walk-through of these four-engined bombers, we  watched the B-17 warm-up and take off and then had a fast-food -lunch.     You can check them out and other planes at the Collins Foundation, located in Stowe, Mass.

ELLIS-CON XXI

WHEN: SATURDAY - NOVEMBER 14,  2009

A LATER START FOR OUR COMMUTERS, SO WE’LL START LATER and STAY LATER:   9AM to 9PM          $8 at the door     

Held at H.H. Ellis Tech. School on Maple St. in DANIELSON, CONNECTICUT - adjacent to the state airport just off Routes 101 & 6 and I395, exit 93 follow yellow hexagonal Ellis-Con Signs.  This year park in the right rear, through the fence, and come in the “Receiving Door”.  Take a right into the old aircraft hangar.

 WHAT: Twelve Hours of Miniature, Board & Card Games: Military, Political, Fantasy & Transportation Games     ** **Hot lunch and snacks available****

Door Prize and Game Auction at 5pm, clean-out or add to your closets! (club keeps 10% of selling price)
