We are officially 1/3 through the year! Only 120 days to go until summer vacation.
Our Class' Thanksgiving Feast will by Wed., Nov. 18. We need some parent support for this major event. Please let us know if you would like to participate.

We are getting excited about Fall and all the fun celebrations that take place during this season!!!

Oct. 2- No school for Parish Fair Day. (Come see our school's booth at the fair. Our class made the Christmas Village and Pinecone Christmas Trees.)
Oct. 5-8 Exam Week
Oct. 9 - No school for students
Oct. 15 - Report Cards and Progress Notes go home
Oct. 16 - Spirit Shirt Day, wear jeans for $1 donation
Oct. 20 - CBE to "Beauty & Beast" Play at SHS
Oct. 23 - CBE Bowling
Oct. 29 - CBE to Pumpkin Patch & Sonic
Oct. 30 - CBE Bowling & Spirit Shirt Day
October 26-30 is Red Ribbon Week
September Updates

September is running along smoothly!
We have had a great time on our swimming CBE trips.
Our next CBE will be to visit the City Council and Mayors Office on Sept. 30th (Wed.) to conclude our unit on Government.
We are participating in the Parish Fair this year by creating items for the school's display booth. The theme for the booth is "A Green Christmas". Our school is creating Christmas decorations out of recycled and repurposed items. We are creating a Christmas village out of recycled milk cartons and toilet paper tubes. We will also make pinecone Christmas trees using mardi gras beads and flock.

School is off to a great start!!!! 
We are finally getting into our groove
with a new schedule.
We have two dates for APE Swimming.
Aug. 28 and Sept. 11.
More CBE dates to come for the month of September.

Welcome, Welcome!!!!
We are glad to have everyone in our class for the new year!!! We have many new changes for this year.
Many forms will be sent home in the next few days. Please fill out and return the ones that need to come back to school. (They will be marked.) A supply list will also be sent home. Please try to turn these itmes in within the first week of school.
