Student's will have two legal days on March 12 and the 13th.
In theory we are going over fire safety. Theory on fire types,extinguisher's and reviewing fire drill procedure. We will be learning how to use a fire extinguisher.
Students also we be able to explain the location of all the fire blankets and alarms in shop
Hand tool identification.
Students will be working on engines.
Safety checking vehicle's in the lab.
The 9th graders have been doing production work on customer vehicle's in shop by performing oil changes and safety inspections.
They have worked on a 2007 Subaru Outback , a 2002 Chevy Venture and a 2001 KIA Sportage. By performing the oil change and safety inspections they found the exhaust system bad on the KIA which resulted in the seniors performing these repairs.
