Hello! My Name is Mary Katherine Higgins and I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! I am originally from Bastrop and attended Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State). Go Bobcats!! This is my seventh year teaching. My husband David and I have a little boy, Camden, who will be four this April. I also have two step children who live in Leander. We have a very loveable chocolate lab named Hershey.

Kindergarten is a wonderful experience for both you and your child. It’s going to be an exciting year! I hope that together we can build a relationship to help your child mature both academically and socially.
