Bienvenue au monde français! We have been studying Greetings, the alphabet, asking and telling our names, and numbers from 1-21. We have been doing multiple exercises that incorporate numbers and letters, including playing dominoes with the numbers written out in French, Onze (just ask how it works 
), "code" puzzles and hangman. We will continue to recycle the greetings (hello, how are you?, my name is..., goodbye--see handout for full list), and are now working on asking "What is this?" and naming various classroom articles. The following Web site is good for pronunciation and reading practice, and I encourage the students to visit it until it becomes automatic for them--even to the point of saying the expressions out loud before the program says them, and then checking their own pronunciation for accuracy.
