Private Lessons
The Diamondback Band provides each student with the opportunity to study privately with professional musicians. Private lessons allow students to receive individualized instruction tailored to their specific needs. Instructors are selected by the band directors for their competence in teaching and performance. Lessons are given at Dessau Middle School during band class, before school and after school, depending on the availability of the teachers’ and student’s schedules.
- Students receive individual lessons from professional musicians
- Once a week (during band, before school or after school)
- 22 minutes for lessons scheduled during school hours
- 30 minutes for lessons scheduled before or after school hours
- Fees will range from $17-20 per lesson depending on instructor experience and qualifications
- Teachers must be given 24 hours notice of absences or students will be charged the lesson fee. Teachers must return this courtesy.
- Payment is expected to be timely, either weekly or bi-monthly.
