This course has students exploring career opportunities, fillling out job applications, creating a resume and cover letter, preparing questions to be asked and answered in a job interview, as well as speaking in public.
Cheney Tech has converted all computers from Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2007 during the summer of 2009, so we will spend some class time now discussing the differences between the two software suites.
A large portion of the classtime for the first few months will be spent on identifying a student 's skillset , which includes trade skills, technical skills, computer skills, as well as identifying the student' s personal characteristics that would make him/her a successful and effective employee.
