WEEKLY HOMEWORK- optional

SPELLING: Define each word, in your own terms. Do not copy a definition from the dictionary. Make a crossword puzzle using 15-20 of your spelling words. Make sure that the definition is the clue, and the word is not part of the clue.

READING: Choose a novel, from home or our classroom library, or school library (more than 130 words, at your level) and read at least 20 minutes each night. At the end of your nightly reading, fill out your reading log. Once the book is complete, choose one of the book reports from the website to complete and turn in by Monday morning.

MATH: Complete SUDOKU puzzle or math sentence puzzles. For extra practice from classwork, log on to http://www.eduplace.com/math/mw/practice/lp_5.html and choose the chapter we are currently working on, and click on the section that we are currently working on, then complete the ENRICHMENT page to complete, turn in the next day.
