Hi! I am Brandie Simmons, and I teach kindergarten at the greatest school in world - Bayou View Elementary. I love my job, and I truly do believe that I have the very best job in the word. I have a wonderful husband, James and two awesome kids: Ansleigh (11) and Garrett (6). We enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, mostly anything on the water. We have a cute little schnauzer, Lucy, that we adopted from the Humane Society. She is wondefully sweet!
I would like for all of my parents to know that I love my job, and I believe that I have the greatest responsibility in the world: to provide a safe and loving environment and to help your children blossom into life-long learners and productive members of society. I do not take this responsibility lightly. I truly do believe in challenging and encouraging every student to be the best that he/she can be. As a team, you and I can help your child achieve every goal that we set in our classroom this year. The greatest reassurance that I can give you as your child’s teacher is this: From one parent to another, I will ALWAYS treat your children the way that I would want my own children to be treated.
