Brenda Monti's Website

I am very excited to be starting my second year at Heritage Middle School. I live in Brookfield. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University and a biology degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My husband, David,  is a science teacher at Riverside Brookfield High School. My son, Aaron, is in fifth grade and my daughter, Alyssa, in third grade at Brook Park School in LaGrange Park. The other members of our family include a three year old Australian Cattle dog, Colby, and two cats, Ringo and Roxie.

I love to scrapbook and have many scrapbooks from the last ten years of my life. Music is a large part of our family life. We love to attend all the concerts of our favorite artists including Toad the Wet Sprocket, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, and dada. I am also taking guitar lessons. Playing guitar is a lot harder than it looks! I enjoy spending time with my family including my very needy pets! My family enjoys going to the zoo, birdwatching, bike riding and hiking.
