Math
We will start Ch. 8 Geometry next week and will make 3D solids. Please send a plastic bag for your child to put his figures in. The first test will be Les. 8-2 Polygons.
Students will have multiplication tests during the school year. We will start with the 1's. Students will have a practice test one week and then a test on Tuesday and Thursday the next week. If they make an A on Tuesday, they do not have to take it on Thursday. They will eventually be timed 5 minutes on these tests. Please make sure your child is studying facts daily and time them on their practice tests.
Students should be reworking problems we do in class daily, regardless if it is a test lesson. The back of our math test comes directly from the page we do in our math practice book. Students should be reworking these problems before the test.
Also students should take the problem of the day sheets home to study over them before the LEAP
