• The 2009-2010 Parent Resource Guide is now available online at http://www.dadeschools.net under Resources.  It is also linked from the Parent Portal and from the Office of Parental Involvement website, http://parents.dadeschools.net.
• The Guide has been reformatted to create a "click-through" document that allows the reader to access sections of interest and select the Spanish or Haitian-Creole translation of a particular section.

Wellness Policy

• Attached is a copy of the Revised Miami-Dade County Public Schools Wellness Policy.

• The revised Wellness Policy addresses Nutrition, Physical Education, Physical Activity, Health and Nutrition Literacy, School-based Healthcare and Staff Wellness. Additionally, the Healthy Beverage and Food Guidelines and the Recommendations for Healthy Celebrations at School are incorporated into this document.
